What’s New in macOS Tahoe?
Liquid Glass Interface
A complete design overhaul that offers fresh visual depth, complete with the heavily requested Tinted Look feature introduced in 26.1 to adjust opacity across workspaces.
Enhanced Collaboration
Deep upgrades to Freeform, including intelligent auto-resizing tables, along with streamlined screen-sharing tools for improved team workflows.
Enterprise Device Management
Improved Declarative Device Management, Platform Single Sign-On during setup, and stricter data-handling guardrails for managed environments.
Phased IT Rollout
Our IT team is managing deployment carefully to preserve security, minimize disruption, and ensure hardware compatibility across the fleet.
⚠️ The Final Era for Intel Macs
Apple has confirmed that macOS Tahoe is the final major macOS release to support Intel-based architecture. To ensure a smooth transition, we are simultaneously prioritizing the refresh of remaining Intel hardware to Apple Silicon.
